Chance was born in Texas five years ago. He spent the first 3.5 years of his life knowing only the cruelty that humans are capable of. He was then rescued and moved to Minnesota. Once in Minnesota, it was discovered that life had one more kick for him because at only 3.5 years old, he was in end stage kidney failure. Chance had an army of support from the rescue, his vet, and his family. His foster family saw what a gem he was and adopted him.
He never once let his past weigh him down. He was the happiest boy ever. Chance always had a toy in his mouth and he would "talk" to you about it - all while wagging his tail so hard it went straight up and down. His tail never stopped, and neither did his gratitude. Chance never minded what was going on as long as it meant he was included. He lived to be loved. Love kept him alive for another 1.5 years.
Chance was loved to the end where he passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He leaves behind three dog siblings (Molly, Koda, and Sophie), his mom and dad, his best friend (Riley), and his army of supporters who rooted for him from the beginning.
