Daisy Lou Kubal passed away surrounded by family on April 30, 2025, at the Heartland Pet Hospital in Faribault. Common nicknames were “Sweeties” and “Doodahs.” Daisy was born October 16, 2014 at a rural community home by Princeton, MN. When we adopted her, she was the first puppy who approached me and stole my heart. I picked up a second dog listening to my brain’s sound advice, but my heart told me to go back to that first puppy. Daisy has been with us ever since. She was a very smart, obedient member of our family. A leash was never necessary as she always knew where to go every moment. We took her on a daily car ride, walk, and an occasional trip to Dairy Queen or Arby’s for a sundae or slider sandwich. There was never a time she bit or snarled at anyone, and I mean ‘never’ literally. Daisy was very skilled at swimming and retrieving. She enjoyed the pursuit of wild animals, but she never caught any of them. Daisy became an expert at chasing tennis balls via “the Chuck-It.” Daisy possessed a large vocabulary of words, so we had to spell many words when she was around. Sometimes, I think she learned how to spell some of them. At family functions, celebrations, family trips, family photos, etc. etc., Daisy was there. Daisy left a huge paw print on our hearts. She will be a tough act to follow for the next dog, if there is a next dog. Left to cherish her memory are her Mom and Dad, Rachel and Paul, and sisters Ariel and Cassy, among many other family and friends. We love you, Daisy.
