Today, we gather to honor and remember a soul so pure, so loyal, and so full of love — our beautiful Husky, Jasmine. She wasn’t just a pet. She was family. She was light. She was love in its truest form.

Jasmine was Grandma Susie’s little shadow, always following her from room to room, never letting her out of her sight. Wherever Grandma went, Jasmine was right behind her — paws soft, heart steady, always watching, always loving. Through laughter, heartbreak, and the hardest days, Jasmine was Grandma Susie’s rock. Her steady presence, her comfort, and her reason to smile, even when life felt heavy. She stayed by Grandma’s side through it all — loyal, gentle, and full of grace. We lovingly called her grandmas faithful steed.

Jasmine had the most beautiful spirit. She adored her sister Mya, and the two of them shared a bond that was full of playfulness and love. They had their own little game — who had the better snack — and Jasmine made sure to guard her treats like treasures. Her proud little glances and happy tail wags filled the house with laughter and life.

She loved playing fetch, chasing after her favorite balls with that spark in her eyes and joy in every stride. She loved her long walks with Grandma Susie and Grandpa Bob, soaking up the fresh air and all the love they gave her. Those were her happiest adventures — being outside with her people, her family, her heart.

And even though Jasmine was afraid of most kids, she absolutely adored her six grandchildren. They were her special circle — the only little ones she trusted completely. She knew they were hers, part of her family, and she loved them with all her heart. They made her tail wag in a way no one else could.

Jasmine’s heart was big enough for two mothers — Grandma Susie and Momma Julie — who shared in her care, her joy, and her unconditional love. They raised her together, both pouring their hearts into the same beautiful soul. Jasmine was the lucky one, surrounded by double the love and double the devotion, and she gave it all right back.

Jasmine got sick with diabetes about three years ago, and if it wasn't for grandpa Bob, she would have passed away long ago. Grandpa gave her insulin shots, meds, did her glucose curves, and loved her through it all. He kept her as healthy as he could for the last 3 years.

And oh, Jasmine gave the best kisses — the kind that melted every worry, that reminded you what unconditional love really feels like. Those gentle, loving kisses were her way of saying thank you, I love you, and I’m right here.

Jasmine wasn’t just a part of the family — she was family. She brought warmth to every room, comfort to every heart, and joy to every day. Her love was constant, unwavering, and unconditional — the kind of love that stays with you forever.

The house feels quieter now without the sound of her paws, her collar tinkling, or her gentle presence following close behind. We miss her more than words can say. But Jasmine will always be here — in every memory, in every laugh, in every quiet moment when we still feel her nearby. She’s watching over Grandma Susie, Grandpa Bob, and Momma Julie, keeping her protective eyes on the family she loved so much.

Run free, sweet Jasmine. You’ll forever be Grandma Susie’s shadow, her rock, her heart. You’ll forever be our family’s angel. Thank you for loving us so fiercely, for standing by us so faithfully, for your playful heart, and for every kiss you gave so freely.

When Mya passed, a part of Jasmine’s heart went with her. The bond they shared was one that time could never break. And though it hurts to say goodbye, we find comfort in knowing that Jasmine and Mya are together again — reunited at last, never to be apart.

And now, our sweet girl also gets to meet Asher, to run and play with him and Mya in Heaven — three souls of light, chasing joy beneath endless skies, watching over the ones they love.

We will miss you, Jasmine, every single day — but your love, your spirit, and your light will live in us always
