Lucy

(“Little bear”)

August 7th, 2007- August 21st, 2025

We were blessed when Lucy came into our lives on August 7th, 2007. Lucy was the first child of our two Pomeranian’s, Foxy and Harley and was named after her mom’s favorite show “I love Lucy”.

Lucy was an odd duck when she was growing up, acting more like a cat than a dog. Lucy loved sleeping on her father’s shoes and would wait anxiously for him to return home from work. Eventually we came up with the nickname “Little bear” as the longer and more puffed out her hair got, the more she looked like a baby bear. Lucy’s favorite food was Tomatoes and Cheerios and would even watch the Tomatoes grow with her father Harley, as the months went on, anxiously waiting to eat them.

Not too long after Lucy was born, she was blessed with a little sister, Sophie. The two were almost polar opposites as Sophie loved to run out in the yard and Lucy would like to lay by your feet like a cat. The one thing that could be said about the both of them is that they were loved dearly by their family and would be cherished forever.

Lucy would spend lot of her time making her bed to get it just right to get comfy and lay down in. Lucy loved to go on walks and play with her adoptive brother Captain in the mornings. Lucy was a fearless dog, always racing toward the door barking away at strangers or pretty much anyone, while Captain would hide and bark from the shadows. Lucy would grow a strong attachment to her father and brother and would perk up anytime they came home.

Lucy was reunited with her family as she crossed the gates of heaven on August 21st, 2025.

We will miss you little bear,
