Star was truly a Star, he was a rescue dog with a bad heart. I was told he wouldn't live past 8 but veterinarian save his live up to 14 1/2 years old. Star chose me to be with me by knocking my mandolin off my lap as I was practicing with my bluegrass band. He wouldn't leave me alone and followed me everywhere. Star became a rest home mascot while I did rest home ministry in the Catholic Church. I did entertainment, visited people, prayed, sang songs on my guitar. Star came and was a part of my ministering these people. He let anyone pick him up and connect with him. When I played bluegrass with band in these places, Star would go out and visit each person in the room. 2 nights ago I asked God to comfort me and him as I asked for an angel to be with us. I was sobbing and suddenly a music box doll went off and played music. I never payed attention to the music box just the doll, a Xmas doll. An angel perhaps the Holy Spirit answered us back with this out of the blue music. Thank-u Star for all the joy you gave to the rest home and all you touched. You were truly a Star. I'll see you in heaven and we will shine together for eternity!
