He came to us as a tiny, scared kitten that someone discarded. He was so frightened, he hid under a shrub by our garage, and would not let anyone touch him. Our daughters and friends patiently coaxed him out with food and water. He decided he had found his forever home. We already had a spay female cat, Sassy, who was a few years older and not so welcoming. She did eventually tolerate having a little brother, and Toby learned not to rile her.
His medical care was provided by Dr. Stephen Krumm DVM & staff at Owatonna Veterinary Services until Dr. Krumm's retirement in 2024. Most recently, Toby, received medical care at Faribault Veterinary Clinic.
Toby enjoyed his days living on a Hobby Farm, with his adoring friends Sara and Emma, and their friends, that pampered and played with him. As they grew up and moved off to college and professional pursuits, Toby was content with Mom & Dad, and made the move to town, to be a city Kitty, 6 years ago.
He loved to snuggle, be brushed, sleeping occasionally by the fireplace, and lounging in the sunshine.
