Wiggles went to rest with my Dad on September 28, 2021, lying in her bed with all of us surrounding her. Wiggles was a blessing to us, we adopted her from the Faribault Human Society at the age of 2, and could never understand why anyone would turn her in. She was the most loving, sweetest, laid back, quiet, dog. She was perfect for us. She was the best companion while Mom was cooking and was the best listener. She was the Queen sleeper at home with lots of snoring. She loved to be around us and if she couldn’t find us, she would look, nudge the door open and sit outside the door until you came out.
Our hearts have a huge hole in it, we never imagined how much this fluff ball won us over and how much she would be missed. We were able to have over 12 years with her. We were the lucky ones. She communicated with Mom by either barking or raising her head to let us know what she needed, i.e., table scraps, some E & J and 7 ice cubes. She loved her vanilla ice cream and had it gone before most of us even took a spoonful.
Thank you to Dr. Tami Bauer for her compassion and patience with us. Also, a very special thank you to Steve, PK Pets and their staff for not only taking care of our girl, but for taking care of us.
You will be missed by us, Shelley, Jon, Gerald, Jaclynn, and Matt.
RIP March 18, 2007-September 28, 2021.
