Ellie was born in Iowa and spent the first half of her life there. She is survived by her human parents Kevin & Amy Luckow of Faribault, two human siblings Kelsey Jones of Plymouth, MN and Nicholas Luckow of Faribault, MN and 4 fur siblings Haula (Maltese), Bonsai (Shih Tzu), Angel (Yorkie/Shih Tzu) and Millie (Havanese). Ellie was abandoned to a rescue in Iowa and later transported to a rescue in Faribault where she was fostered by her now grandmother Sheila Wolkenhauer. Ellie was the first rescue to her new family and they loved her so much they went on to rescue four more. Ellie was an only dog for 2 years and enjoyed being spoiled and doted upon. She was a girly girl who loved getting dressed up and got excited if her mom brought her home a new dress or sweater. She was lively and playful until the end. Ellie loved going for walks and car rides and grooming her baby sister Millie. She was an alpha female and liked to be the leader of the pack. Truly a well mannered and loyal companion. She’d lay on the bath mat keeping watch over her mom until she was done with her shower. She never liked being away from her humans and was very much a lap dog. She was promised a forever home and that is what she got. Forever loved and forever in our hearts. Run free little girl until we meet again.
